Chiang Mai are away again this week for the second time in 2 weeks and will be playing their third game in 10 days against second from bottom team Tak Fc at Tak stadium.

After 2 wins from their previous outings at home against Lamphun warriors and away against Phayao fc last sunday, the tigers will be looking for an hat trick of wins that will see themselves at the top of the league if only for a couple of hours until after the result of the top of the table clash between Phitsanulok and Sukhothai is played 2 hours later.

The tigers last two games haven’t seen them at their best and they have been fortunate to come away with 2 wins from the last two games, at Phayao last weekend they lost their lead against 9 men before finally getting back in front with 10 minutes to go through Machuca.

For some reason only known to the management of the club Amoha #7 is still being kept on the bench until around the 70th minute mark, this has caused a few negative coments from fans at both the last two games with fans eventually chanting his name until he was given the go ahead to enter the field, in both games he has come into the game and given Chiang Mai another gear and this has been in my opinion the reason why we have gone on to win both games.

This week the tigers travel south to second from bottom team Tak, who have lost 6 out of 7 of their opening fixtures, their last 2 games against Lamphun and Phichit have both resulted in defeat. With a squad made up of all Thai’s apart from an Ivorian Midfielder, Chiang mai will look to take control of the midfield and hopefully punish them up front. Speaking with Russ Mensha last week, he told me that he was just waiting for his clearence and he was hoping to play some part in this game. Lets hope he will be starting at the side of Amoha.

Chiang Mai FC English will be attending this game so all the latest news and scores will be on the site, Facebook and Twitter from 4pm.
