The long trip to Petchabun was worth the journey at the weekend as Chiang Mai FC secured a vital 4-1 win over Petchabun FC. This win keeps The Tigers at the top of the table with three points ahead of their closest rivals and this weeks opponents Paknampho NSRU FC. Chiang Mai still have a game in hand due to the match against Phrae being called off earlier in the season. We still don’t have a date for the replay of this game but it could end up being the last game of the season which would mean we play them away one week then home again the week after. We will do our best to keep you all updated on this.
So this week it’s The Big Game! Chiang Mai FC v Paknampho NSRU FC. Chiang mai are only three points in front of their closest rivals and have only scored a couple more goals than them. Could this game put us six points clear of them? Paknampho have scored twelve goals in their last five matches drawing one and winning four. Chiang Mai have scored an impressive nineteen goals in their last five matches, they have also won four of those games but lost one to Phitsanulok FC.
Paknampho Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University Football Club (NSRU) are nicknamed The Yellow Dragons, hopefully the Tigers will be the Dragon Slayers from 18:00 this coming Saturday.
The usual kick off time of 18:00 is scheduled for this game on Saturday 25th of August.
Drinks, Snacks & Merchandise will be available as usual outside the front of the ground.
