Last week Chiang Mai FC played away to Sukhothai FC. It was a very hot day on an extremely hard and rough looking pitch and these conditions made it tough going for both teams. Sukhothai looked very confident and were out for a win. This determination saw them get the first goal of the match which was promptly followed my mocking Chiang Mai’s goal celebrations used by our number 27. This was a big mistake as less than a minute later number 27 got the ball to the other end of the field and showed the crowd how the celebration should be done! Chiang Mai went on to score a second goal and the game ended with the tigers coming away with their 8th victory in succession.

This week Chiang Mai FC will play host to 10th place Petchabun FC. Also known as The Tamarind Warriors, Petchabun Fc have won 4, drawn3 and lost 4 so far this season. A win this weekend could see them climb the league but it will be a tough challenge against the leaders. Chiang Mai drew their first 3 games and have won every game since. This now has us sitting 5 points clear at the top of the league with Paknampho NSRU FC moving past Phitsanulok FC to claim 2nd place below us.

This week the match is on Saturday 05/05/2012. kick off is scheduled for 18:00.

Food & drinks will be available outside the ground before & during the game.

Merchandise will also be on sale next to the entrance and there are now a limited number of 3/4 XL western sized home and away shirts available to buy.
