Chiang Mai FC notched up yet another win last weekend beating opponents Tak FC 2-1. This result means the Tigers are still top of the leage, still unbeaten and are now 4 points clear of the teams below them.
This week Chiang Mai FC travel south to the historical town of Sukhothai. Currently one place off bottom, Sukhothai FC (The Fire Bats) have not had the best start to the season with only 2 draws and 1 win out of their first 10 games. Chiang Mai FC will undoubtedly be encouraged this form but should not underestimate their opponents.
Sukhothai FC have finished reasonably well in the league in previous years so they will be looking to get their second win of the season this weekend against the league leaders. Their home ground is The Institute of Physical Education Sukhothai Stadium. The capacity is 4500. Only the main stand is covered and seats 2500 people. The opposite stand is uncovered and the concrete steps hold 2000.
This week the game is a Saturday game and the scheduled kick off time is 17:00.
Chiang Mai FC Fanzine will be travelling to this game as will people from The Red Lion.
Directions to the ground can be found here .
Hope to see you all at the game.
