The last game saw Chiang Mai play host to visitors Uthai Thani Forest FC. Although Chiang Mai were expected to win this game they appeared to be making hard work of it at times. The hi-lights of the game were a goal coming from a penalty scored by #25 at the 37th minute and then an awesome free kick in the 45th which initially looked like a cross but ended up in the top corner of the net. Scorer was #27. The final score of the game was 2-0 and this win along with a draw for this weeks visitors allowed The tigers to claim top spot in the league outright.

This week Chiang Mai play host once again, the visitors will be Phitsanulok FC. Chiang Mai were joint top with Phitsanulok until last weekend when we secured a 2-0 win whilst they were held to a 2-2 draw with Paknampho NSRU FC. Neither team have lost a game yet this season so this is going to be the biggest game of the league this week!

Phitsanulok have won 4 from 7 games with 3 draws compared to Chiang Mai who have won 5 from 7 with 2 draws. There’s clearly not much between the two teams at this stage in the season and it looks to be a close game.

This week the game is played on Saturday 7th of April and kick off is at 18:00 as usual.

Ticket prices are 40 – 80 Baht and season tickets are still available for all areas of the ground.

Drinks, snacks & merchandise will be available outside the main entrance to the ground before and during the game.

We will also be meeting in The Red Lion Pub in the night bazaar area from around 16:00 for pre-match drinks & banter. A lift to the game can usually be arranged for anyone wanting to get to the ground.

Hope to see you all there.
