Sunday 11th of March saw Chiang Mai F.C. give an excellent performance against local rivals Phayao F.C. The visitors looked like they were going to be tough opponents as the game kicked off but The Tigers were quick to show their pace and skill over Phayao. Chiang Mai were 2-0 up in the first ten minutes with two goals being scored by #24. By half time the scoreline was 3-0 and after a second half which saw some strong defending and an excellent attempt on goal from a free kick that was how the match ended.

This weekend Chiang Mai have yet another local game at Lampang. After winning their last two games the tigers will be looking for three in a row with this game. Lampang, nicknamed “The Emerald Chariots”, finished 9th in the league last year so they will be looking to improve on that this year. A win over the local rivals would be a real feather in their caps if they could pull it off.
Chiang Mai F.C. Fanzine staff and friends will be meeting at The Red Lion Pub in the night bazaar at 14:00 before setting off to Lampang around 15:30.
All are welcome to join us but we would politely ask that anyone who is able to offer lifts to and from the game please volunteer. We are usually able to offer lifts but nearly all the seats have been taken already.
Directions to the ground have already been posted on out Facebook page for anyone going directly, kick off is 18:00.
we are looking forward to seeing everyone there and we are expecting lots of fans to travel to this game.
