Last weekend The Tigers travelled all the way to Songkhla and secured a vital three points. The game was a tense affair with plenty of action for the fans. #23 Sarun scored first for Chiang Mai but after this Songkhla equalised. Sarun then scored again to take us back into the lead. Again, this was equalled by the home team. The final goal came from Chiang Mai’s #5 Warut to secure a very much needed 3-2 victory away from home.

This week Chiang Mai will play host to PTT Rayong FC . PTT are currently 4th in the league winning three from their last five matches. Chiang Mai are now in 16th place after last weeks victory and another win could possible move them out of the relegation zone. Things are very close at the bottom of the table right now and with only a few matches left in the season all points are crucial for The Tigers.

The main part of international players are still with the team from the first half of the season. From the Ivory Coast there are four players, #2 Ammdou Otatara, #13 Kone Francis, #16 Ibrahim Kanoute & #22 Maki Drame. From Brazil there is #28 Diego Martins. Ratinho is no longer with PTT and the same applies to #31 Dong Cham Kim from South Korea.

An addition to the squad is a player on loan from BEC Tero in the TPL. A few of the fans may recognise #15 Mohammed Gado! It goes without saying Mohammed is a skilled player and could cause many problems from the Chiang Mai defence.

The game kicks off at 18:00 on Saturday 10/12/2011 at The 700 Year Stadium on Canal Road.

Drinks, snacks & merchandise will all be on sale outside the ground before, during & after the match.

Please show your support for Chiang Mai FC in their penultimate home game.
